Statham will play a recovering gambling addict who now provides protection to other gamblers using only his bare hands (and I reckon his head and feet in this remake).  Sounds good so far and when I tell you Brian De Palma (The Untouchables, Scarface) is directing, I reckon we’re in for a treat. Heat is due to start filming in France later this year.

Big Question – Will Statham be sporting the tache?

Parker is an adaptation of “Flashfire” by Donald Westlake. Its about some property auction scam, where J-Lo plays an estate agent and Statham a crim. It’s being filmed at some fancy hotel complex in Boca Raton.

Parker is directed by Oscar nominee Taylor Hackford who did “Office and a Gentlemen” and “Ray” – two not Jason Statham movies. Produced by Steve Chasman who did Transformers and Killer Elite – which if the rumours are true about the next Transformers movies, are Jason Statham movies.

Jason Statham will start shooting Hummingbird in London in early 2012. Hummingbird is about an ex-special forces soldier (stop me if youve heard this one) who becomes an avenging angel. Hopefully it will turn out nothing like that awful shit with Crocodile dundee in, and given Oscar nominated producers Paul Webster and Tracey Seaward are involved I’m sure it will be top drawer.

So what do you reckon? We all know Statham is hard, but how hard does an Angel have to punch to knock someone out?

Toy maker Hasbro own  the rights and their top man Brian Goldner told investors that the company is currently in “action discussions” with Paramount, producer Steven Spielberg and director Michael Bay to make two more movies.

La Beouf is out and Statham is in.

Repeat: Jason Statham in The Brazilian Job!

Bet Michael Caine wishes they thought of this fifty years ago, but Jason’s people have spoken to to the right people and so we The people will be blessed with a follow up to the Italian Job, The Brazilian Job.

My money says its set in Brazil and will contain cars, birds, money and Jason Statham being hard. Yeah I  know, sounds awesome right?

The big draw is obviously the famous for more than just this website, Mr Jason Statham. And once again he is supported by some of the biggest names in Hollywood such as Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and possibly, just maybes, Chuck Fuckin Norris!

With a cast like that it obviously doesn’t matter what the script is like. This film will be awesome. More details as we get them….
